The emphasis is not on collecting icons. It is on understanding access, time, movement and care well enough to visit with confidence.
No single list defines a wonder
The current collection is an editorial starting point, not a universal hierarchy. It brings together places with distinct traveler decisions and enough public, authoritative context to support useful comparison. We do not assign rank numbers, and the collection can grow as additional places are researched.
Decision first
Each entry begins with the choice that changes the visit: which circuit, how many days, which pass, which section, which rim, which national-park side or which reef gateway. Designation and scale appear when they clarify that decision, not as decorative trivia.
Phase 1 is a foundation
This first release includes the homepage, wonder index, four planning hubs and trust pages. Future phases may add researched detail guides, regions, languages, tools and verified commercial inventory without changing stable wonder IDs or the core editorial model.
